Harry Leslie Hoffman (1871-1964)

Undersea Fantasy

30 by 32 inches, signed lower center “Hoffman”

During the winter of 1916, Harry Hoffman traveled to Nassau. It was during this time that a new world opened up for the artist as he viewed the coral reefs with a water-glass and later, a glass bottom boat. In vivid colors, Hoffman painted images of the beauty and spirit of the undersea environment.
